Youth applications:
AMBASSADORS
Two ambassadors will be chosen by the ambassador selection committee from applications submitted by exhibitors who are enrolled in high school as Junior class students. Eligibility requirements are stated on the application form available at juniorshow.org and are due April 1 of the current year.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarships are awarded to qualifying youth who are continuing their education. The Rising Leaders Scholarship is for high school seniors. The Legacy Scholarship is for students enrolled in an accredited college/university or trade school. Program requirements and applications are available through the corresponding links. Scholarship applications are due April 1 of the current year.
JUDGE JOHN SCHULTHEIS CITIZENSHIP AWARD
Application information and scoring rubric is available at juniorshow.org. Letters recommending a deserving youth are due April 1 of the current year and individuals will be evaluated on character, service, and leadership. The recipient will be recognized during the livestock auction, receiving a plaque and name added to the perpetual plaque located in the Junior Show office.
BARN CAPTAIN
Each barn may elect a 4-H and FFA representative to be a delegate in that barn.
The barn captain will be elected in the barn in which they have a Jr. Show entry.
Applicants must be exhibiting an animal in the barn they wish to represent.
Barn Captain applications are Due April 1 of the current year.

Coordinate with our Youth Ambassadors to offer youth activities and experiences
Create Facebook and Instagram Story content in a timely manner
Capture candid moments in and out of the ring
Assist with exhibitor and livestock check-in
Participate in daily show/livestock sale tasks, preparations and execution
Assist the Executive Director in keeping exhibiting families informed and the show running smoothly
Assist with the general promotion of the Junior Livestock Show of Spokane
THE JIM SEABECK AWARD
Recognizes 4-H Clubs and FFA Chapters who strive for high standards.
Rules:
1. 4-H Clubs or FFA Chapters must have at least 5 or more exhibitors to be eligible and are automatically entered for consideration.
Tabulation:
1 Point for each blue or purple ribbon in all livestock exhibits.
1 Point for each blue or purple ribbon in Showmanship.
1 Additional point for Reserve Grand Champion or Grand Champion in Market.
1 Additional point for Reserve Grand Champion or Grand Champion in Showmanship.
1 additional point for Round Robin winner
1 additional point for Supreme Showman
1 additional point for Supreme Market Animal
Divide the total points by the number of exhibitors in Club or Chapter. This will give the ratio to compare between Clubs and Chapters.
