Dedicated to youth.

We wish to thank those who have given their time and expertise to make the Junior Livestock Show of Spokane what it is today. Members have volunteered many hours of dedicated effort to strengthen the show. We greatly appreciate your invaluable contribution, and hope to continue to make a positive impact on owning and exhibiting livestock.

Vision Statement

Promote show expansion by increasing exhibitors, volunteers, and corporate and private sponsorships to maintain fiscal independence as a premier youth livestock show.

Mission Statement

Cultivate youth and volunteers, provide education, and promote market quality livestock by providing a platform for fair and ethical livestock competition.

Meet the Executive Director

Lori Williams

Raised on a dryland wheat and cattle ranch near Ritzville, Washington, executive director Lori Williams brings a lifelong connection to both agriculture and the show—with her family’s involvement spaning three generations.

Joining as Executive Director in August 2022, Lori transitioned from a decade-long role as outreach coordinator for the Washington Association of Wheat Growers and service as a state fairs commissioner. Under the leadership of her and the Board of Directors, the show has evolved into a year-round platform fostering opportunities for youth engagement, education, and leadership—expanding beyond the event itself to include additional scholarships, leadership programs, and opportunities for more career connections through contests and networking opportunities.

Lori’s vision centers on “cultivating youth and promoting livestock”—a mission she and the Board champions through initiatives that connect the public with agriculture and inspire future generations. Her efforts were recently recognized when she received the inaugural Impact Award from the Washington State Fairs Association for creative and pioneering leadership.

Beyond her role, she’s a proud mother—her daughter Alyssa and son Landon are active in exhibiting livestock and competitive ag events. The family resides near Ritzville on their small cattle and feed operation. As Lori is a 4-H Leader and husband Andy is an Ag Advisor at Lind-Ritzville High School, spare time is often spent participating in 4-H and FFA activities.

A Message from our President

I am honored to have been elected to serve as the Junior Livestock Show President for the 2026 show! As a long time board member and former FFA advisor, it has been exciting to see growth and change to the show over the past few years with expanded classes, competitions, and educational events for our youth exhibitors. As a parent of current exhibitors and newly elected President, I look forward to seeing continued implementation of new ideas and opportunities for current and future showmen as we close in on our 100th year as the premier Junior Livestock Show in the Northwest. My goals for the show are to help to give our youth the opportunities to achieve their goals both inside and outside the ring while continuing to recognize and showcase the traditions this show has brought to generations of show families. Whether you are a first-time showman or fifth-generation exhibitor, we look forward to seeing you in Spokane in 2026!

Regards,

Lisa Baser

President
